He opted to build his Patch 22 residential and office building largely out of wood. &#8220;It is the only raw material that is 100% renewable and in which CO2 is stored in a sustainable way.&#8221; A wood pellet boiler provides heat, while solar cells on the roof produce so much electricity that the building is energy neutral.
